To kick off the celebration of our 50th year, Fordingbridge Choral Society is delighted to bring to you Mozart’s Requiem. Beautiful, moving, dramatic and exciting by turns, this masterpiece was Mozart’s last, composed as he lay dying at only 35 years of age and finished by his student Franz Xaver Süssmayr.

Joining us to sing this wonderful work are by the highly acclaimed international soprano Amy Carson, the youngest founding girl chorister at Salisbury Cathedral, together with Charlotte Tetley contralto, Michael Graham, tenor, and Tim Dickinson, bass, and the professional players of the Edwards Ensemble.
To complete our programme, we bring you BBC Young Musician prizewinner Jack Campbell performing one of Mozart’s most popular Piano Concertos, No.21 in C (K 467) often nicknamed ‘Elvira Madigan’ after its use in the film of that name.
